Dr. Valeri is honored to serve her native Northeast Ohio. She is a 2005 graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2008, she completed her Family Medicine residency at Summa Health in Akron, where she then held a position as an Associate Director of the family medicine residency program for 14 years.  She continues to mentor Summa's family medicine residents, as well as medical students from Northeast Ohio Medical University and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Valeri has completed the Fertility Awareness and Medical Management (FEMM) course.  She also has a working knowledge of the Marquette Method.  Dr. Valeri is passionate about breastfeeding management, newborn care, low-risk obstetrics, Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT), physician burnout, teaching family medicine, and the intersection of faith and medicine.

Dr. Valeri is married with four daughters.  She is a devout Catholic who is involved in women's ministry work. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, creating, cooking from scratch, and caring for her chickens.
